Welcome to the New Patient Center

Welcome to the new patient center for Gravity Health & Chiropractic Centre!

We understand that arriving at a chiropractic office for the first time can be intimidating. If you’ve never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you come to our Temiskaming Shores office for the first time.

Filling out paperwork, meeting new people, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.

That’s why at Gravity Health & Chiropractic our aim is to remove any unnecessary stress or tension and make you feel comfortable during your visit with our chiropractor.

On this page, you will be able to take care of the items necessary for your chiropractic visit prior to arriving, in the comfort of your own home!

If you have any questions at any time, please don’t hesitate to contact the office at (705) 647-8877.

What To Expect?

Phase 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our chiropractic office, our first objective is to help you reduce the pain and start feeling better as soon as possible. Depending on the severity of the underlying condition which is causing the pain, it is typical for a patient to need chiropractic care or adjustments 2-3 times a week. Incidentally, this is also where patients start to feel better.

After the problem is under control, healing can begin to take place…

Phase 2: Corrective/ Restorative Care
Phase 3: Wellness/ Maintenance Care
Being Healthy doesn't mean no pain.

Most people are under the assumption that if they don’t feel any pain that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. Pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

Importantly, when you begin chiropractic care, pain is also the first symptom to disappear, even though much of the underlying condition remains.

Gravity Health Exercise

Do not be discouraged…

If on occasion you experience mild symptom flare-ups. This is normal!

Flare-ups are bound to occur during the first two phases of care because your body has not fully healed. Along with treatments, you will be encouraged to begin doing exercises and stretches at the clinic or at home to help speed up your recovery and healing.
